Registration for currently enrolled students begins in February.
New student registration will be held the 1st Saturday in March, from 9:00 am - noon. During this time, prospective parents can tour the classroom, meet the teachers, and fill out an application.
An annual, non-refundable registration fee of $35.00 is due at the time of registration. A non-refundable tuition deposit is due in June.
After registration day, students may be accepted for late enrollment on a space-available basis.
Tuition payments for our academic programs will be made in ten monthly installments, August through May. A 5% discount is offered for siblings in our educational programs, with a 10% discount for siblings enrolled in our childcare program.
Each family with a student enrolled at Richland Academy is required to complete ten (10) service hours per school year. If in lieu of performing service hours, a family chooses to pay for the hours and not to participate, the yearly commitment will be $250 ($25 per hour).
Toddler: The Toddler Program is open to children 18 months (minimum age) and older. Enrollment opportunities are based on current space availability. Priority is given to currently enrolled student, students who had previously attended, siblings of currently enrolled students, siblings of alumni, families enrolling more than one child to any program, students requiring all day care, and then to children from the community (in that order). The date of the application is also considered in the selection process.
Preprimary: The Montessori preprimary program is open to children 2.7 (at date of enrollment) to 6 years of age. Children must be able to use the bathroom independently. Kindergarten students must meet the Kindergarten age restrictions of their local public school district or be 5 years old by September 1st. Enrollment opportunities are based on current space availability. Priority is given to currently enrolled student, students who had previously attended, siblings of currently enrolled students, siblings of alumni, families enrolling more than one child to any program, students requiring all day care, and then to children from the community (in that order). The date of the application is also considered in the selection process.
