A child attending the Five-Day program will fulfill the requirements for Kindergarten in the state of Pennsylvania. During the Kindergarten year the Montessori child explores new and familiar materials in greater detail. Building upon previous experience and knowledge, the child is guided through more complex, abstract lessons in all curricular areas. Instruction is individualized, self-paced, and emphasis is placed on emerging math and literacy skills. Previous Montessori experience is recommended.
